From November 13th to 15th, European Sustainable Wines participated at QWine Expo in Qingtian City. A small booth was design to present some wines from Italy.
A decicated booth from the campaign and a seminar about Vini d’Abruzzo was held during the fair. The seminar was a success with 40 guests learning about European Wines.
About the Fair: Qingtian has chosen to interpret the New Silk Road project with passion, with the organization of QWine Expo, led by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese (ACFROC), chaired by the Zhejiang Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Municipality of Lishui, and funded by the Lishui Chamber of Commerce and Qingtian Municipality. The fourth edition of QWine Expo, short for Qingtian International Wine Expo, took place in Qingtian, Zhejiang from November 13-15, 2021. QWine Expo had 8 pavilions this year for a total of 1,800 stands, with a total exhibition area of 90,000 square meters. More than 600 wineries participated including wineries and importers, more than 100 coffee importers and Lifestyle companies, over 500 companies of import products, for a total of more than 70,000 products from more than 70 countries and regions, breaking all records previous one. The Italian pavilion was once again the protagonist of the fair, with the presence of about 150 companies and more than 3,000 labels for tasting, which attracted buyers from more than 20 Chinese provinces.
About the European Sustainable Wines Campaign
This project was born from the joint work of the Italian consortia Consorzio Tutela Vini d’Abruzzo and Consorzio Barbera d’Asti e Vini del Monferrato, together with the Regulatory Board of the La Mancha Designation of Origin in Spain. It will last 3 years and will focus on the markets of China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and Vietnam.
The European Sustainable Wines campaign is financed by the Multi-Programme fromEuropean Research Executive Agency (REA) and is under Regulation (EU) No 1144/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 October 2014 on information provision and promotional measures for agricultural products on the internal market and in third countries
