From 1 to 30 November, as part of the “European Sustainable Wines” promotion in Japan, the “By the Glass Campaign” promotional campaign was held, with the participation of the following partners-producers of Abruzzovini, in collaboration with their Japanese partner-importers.
The wineries that participated in the promotion were: Cantina Tollo, Cantine Mucci, Casal Thaulero, Cascina del Colle, Codice Citra, Family Estates Torre Zambra, Fattoria Giuseppe Savini, Fattoria la Valentina, Francesco Cirelli, Jasci e Marchesani, Nicola Di Sipio, Nic Tartaglia, Orlandi Contucci Ponno, Talamonti, Tenuta Cerulli Spinozzi and Tenuta Secolo IX.
Almost 150 restaurants collaborated with the promotion across the whole country and covering important cities as Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka or Okinawa.
The promotion was a huge success with mora that 2750 bottles sold.
About the European Sustainable Wines Campaign
This project was born from the joint work of the Italian consortia Consorzio Tutela Vini d’Abruzzo and Consorzio Barbera d’Asti e Vini del Monferrato, together with the Regulatory Board of the La Mancha Designation of Origin in Spain. It will last 3 years and will focus on the markets of China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and Vietnam.
The European Sustainable Wines campaign is financed by the Multi-Programme fromEuropean Research Executive Agency (REA) and is under Regulation (EU) No 1144/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 October 2014 on information provision and promotional measures for agricultural products on the internal market and in third countries
