European Sustainable Wines Shenzhen Virtual Wine Tasting

On November 11th, the European Sustainable Wines Virtual Wine Tasting Event, and focused in Abruzzo Wines Consortium was held in Shenzhen.

A group of Chinese professionals had the opportunity to meet some wineries of the Abruzzo Wines Consortium by Zoom platform and to taste their wines, in particular, Montepulciano d’Abruzzo type.

The Tasting was held by the wine professional Mr. Roger Chow.

The participating wineries were: Cantina Valle Tritana, Casal Thaulero, Pasetti Vini, Poderi Costantini Antonio, Tenuta Arabona, Tenuta I Fauri.

Chinese guests have greatly appreciated the wines presented. During all the event there was a joyful and convivial atmosphere between our Chinese guests and Abruzzo wineries. They were greatly interested and made several questions about wineries’ stories and winemaking processes. They all recognized that the quality of the wines and the wineries was very high.

About the European Sustainable Wines Campaign

This project was born from the joint work of the Italian consortia Consorzio Tutela Vini d’Abruzzo and Consorzio Barbera d’Asti e Vini del Monferrato, together with the Regulatory Board of the La Mancha Designation of Origin in Spain. It will last 3 years and will focus on the markets of China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and Vietnam.

The European Sustainable Wines campaign is financed by the Multi-Programme fromEuropean Research Executive Agency (REA)  and is under Regulation (EU) No 1144/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 October 2014 on information provision and promotional measures for agricultural products on the internal market and in third countries
