The first seminar from European Sustainable Wines – Sustainability Through Wine Tasting Program 2021 took place at 18 May in the city of Tokyo, Japan.
In our seminar participants learnt about the climate, winemaking techniques, indigenous grapes varieties, wine culture and many more interesting facts from the European Protected Designations of Origin (PDO): Consorzio Tutela Vini D’Abruzzo (Italy), Consorzio Barbera d’Asti e Vini del Monferrato (Italy) and D.O. La Mancha (Spain).
The European Sustainable Wines campaign is funded by the European Union for the promotion of PDO wines in China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam, under Regulation (EU) No 1144/2014.
