On January 28th, the European Sustainable Wines Virtual Wine Tasting has been held in Taipei. The tasting was focused in Abruzzo Wines Consortium.
A group of Taiwanese professionals had the opportunity to meet some wineries of the Abruzzo Wines Consortium by Zoom platform and to taste their wines, in particular the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo type. The Tasting was held by the wine professionals Andrea Gottardi and Claudio Fragiacomo.
The participating wineries were: Azienda agricola Barone Cornacchia, Cantina Frentana, Ciavolich, Tenute Barone di Valforte, Tenuta Oderisio, Tenuta Secolo IX.
Taiwanese guests really appreciated the wines. During the whole event there was a joyful and convivial atmosphere between our Taiwanese guests and Abruzzo wineries. The participants were very interested and asked several questions about the wineries’ histories and winemaking processes. Everyone of them recognized that the quality of the wines and wineries was very high.
